Tip #221: Response Time.
Okay, if it's one thing that peeves Miss Mary Jane
to no possible end it is the lack of socially appropriate response
time. Good example: someone emails you a contract, an important message,
or calls you. In Miss Mary Jane's book you have 24 hours AT MOST to
respond. There is nothing in the world that should preclude even a
cursory "I received your message and will respond as soon as possible."
That's good. It's nice. It's called "common courtesy." Basically, a
good rule of thumb is, try to be as responsive to those around you,
as you like to be responded to. Does that make sense?
